Eastern Sierra Transit Authority will be operating a limited schedule on July 3, 2009, in observance of Independence Day.
- CREST Routes will not operate.
- All transit services in Lone Pine and Walker will be closed.
- All transit service in Bishop, EXCEPT Nite Rider will be closed.
- All transit service in Mammoth Lakes will operate on the regular schedule.
ESTA to Operate REDS MEADOW Shuttle
ESTA commenced operation of the Red's Meadow Shuttle on Saturday, June 13th. Service will continue daily from 7:15 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. through September 9 [schedule]. ESTA will provide service starting at The Village in Mammoth Lakes for select departures each morning. Passengers can return to The Village by riding the Mammoth Mountain Bike Park shuttle. Fares for the Red's Meadow shuttle are $7 for adults and $4 for children. Bikes are accommodated on a space available basis, and dogs (with muzzle) are allowed. ESTA has recently adopted a new Service Name for the transit services that it operates. That service name "Eastern Sierra Transit" accurately describes the services that the transit authority provides. ESTA will be unveiling new marketing materials in the fall of 2008 to highlight the new name and logo.
